Gilly, a third-generation Nevadan, discovered her passion of helping others and making a difference in the local community at a young age. At just 12 years old Gilly became a community leader through National Charity League, which led to various philanthropic roles in her sorority at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and other local non-profits. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. Before coming to Eddy House, she was the Volunteer and Respite Care Coordinator for the Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation. There she helped expand RAVE’s Jr and Teen program, planned and executed events, managed part-time staff and interns, and grew their volunteer program into the most successful it has been in the history of the organization. She is excited to bring her passion, community involvement and well-rounded non-profit experience to Eddy House.
