How to Help
Immediate Needs
To donate, please bring items to us Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm. To schedule a time to bring donations outside of these hours, please call or email sarah.br@eddyhouse.org.
Here is a list of what we can usually accept:

Underwear and socks (all sizes, men’s and women’s)

Travel-size hygiene items (especially deodorant)

Toothbrushes, toothpastes, and floss

Face wash and face lotion

Period products
-
Chapstick
-
Gift cards ($5-15 for grocery, fast food, amazon, etc)
-
Shelf-stable snacks and drinks (jerky, crackers, gatorade, juice, granola bars, etc.)

Backpacks and other bags
-
Laundry detergent liquid & pods
If you are interested in helping to provide completed hygiene kits, here is some information:
Prepared hygiene kits are very helpful, but must only include travel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, and soap (specifically liquid body wash). These need to be in clear bags only, small Ziploc bags are preferred. Other items not in this list can be donated, but must not be placed inside the hygiene bags.
