For Youth

We welcome any homeless and at-risk youth aged 18-24, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or race. We have a wide range of services available, including:

  • Drop-In Center & Emergency Shelter: Our Drop-In Center is a safe place where young people can access safe and free overnight shelter, showers, laundry, food, clothing, personal care items, lockers, computers, and more. These services are available 24 hours a day, but overnight check-ins are preferred by 9 pm.

  • Community Living & Transitional Living Programs: Once the immediate needs of our clients are met through our Drop-In Center and Emergency Shelter, youths are invited to apply to our residential programs. Starting with our 6-month Community Living program, residents are provided a stable, sober living environment where they have access to a kitchen, food storage, individual bed spaces with storage, and on-site laundry services.

Beyond our services, we want youth to be aware of Reno Youth Network, an online resource for identifying other community organizations with a wide-range of services:

Our hope is always to meet you in person so we can talk about your individual needs and address them together. If that’s not an option for you we have put together a list of very general resources we work with on a regular basis.

Things are ever-changing in our community, however, the best option is always to contact us directly whether that is in person, through an e-mail or by phone. You are the expert in your life, and you know best what works for you and where you want to be.

Keep in mind when using the resources listed that most have eligibility requirements and that nothing is a one size fits all program.
