Residential Programs

Eddy House's residential programs offer safe housing, wraparound services, and essential tools, helping young people move from crisis to independence after connecting with our Drop-In Center and Emergency Shelter.

Community Living Program

Our Community Living Program (CL) helps youth stabilize their lives and prepare for independence through structure, support, and skill-building. Participants live on-site at Eddy House and receive individualized case management, workforce development services, and life skills education.

New youth staying in our shelter complete an intake assessment and work closely with Case Managers to explore next steps. Those who are ready for a higher level of commitment may be invited to apply for the CL program. Unlike our low-barrier Emergency Shelter, the CL program requires participants to actively pursue full-time employment or education and maintain sobriety.

Youth in the CL program are twice as likely to achieve sustainable independence compared to those who only stay in the Emergency Shelter.

Transitional Living Community (TLC 36)

When youth are ready for even greater independence, they can transition into our Transitional Living Community (TLC 36). Our Transitional Living Community is a 36-unit studio apartment complex offering affordable housing for up to two years.

Each resident lives in their own private, furnished studio, gradually taking on more financial responsibility through a structured fee schedule that mimics the realities of market-rate housing. This design helps build financial literacy and prepare youth for life on their own.

Participants receive ongoing support through one-on-one case management, workforce development coaching, and financial education. Residents must be employed or in school full-time, and they are supported in reaching personal, educational, and career goals..

Financial coaching to build credit and savings.
Free bus passes and transportation assistance.
Professional clothing and hygiene items.
Meals and community support through the Drop-In Center.

As youth approach the end of their two-year journey, our Aftercare Coordinator works with them on next steps by assisting with housing searches, moving support, and long-term planning to ensure continued success.
