Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of essential services to youth ages 18-24 including overnight shelter, skill building programs, healthcare, hygiene supplies, showers, meals, clothing, therapy, and so much more. We also provide resources and supportive services to high school students ages 14-18 through our mobile outreach program, Eddy House Hangout, as well as many other wraparound programs to support young people in our community.

We`re also collecting 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙤𝙧 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 kitchen appliances for youth who have moved out of our shelter and are now living on their own.
Moving out of the shelter is a HUGE milestone, but starting out on your own often means starting from scratch. Everyday essentials like air fryers, microwaves, Crock-Pots, toasters, and coffee makers can help these young adults prepare meals, save money, and make their new spaces feel like home.
If you have an appliance you no longer need that`s clean and in good working condition, we`d love to put it to good use!

‼️ Underwear, bras, and socks must be 𝗡𝗘𝗪, unused, and in their original packaging. We cannot accept these items secondhand, even if they have been washed. Gently used kitchen appliances are welcome, provided they are clean and in good working condition.
Every donation helps us provide young people with the essentials they need today and the tools to build a more stable future.

We’re hiring a PR, Events & Content Creation Intern for the Spring 2027 semester! 🎉
This paid internship is open to any current @unevadareno undergraduate student interested in public relations, social media, event marketing, photography, video, writing, or nonprofit storytelling.
The intern will work directly with @eddy_house’s Marketing Director, with much of the semester focused on promoting and supporting our 5th Annual But First, Dessert Gala.
Projects may include creating social media content, event marketing, earned media, sponsor recognition, email and website content, and event-day communications.

📣 WE’RE HIRING: High School Outreach Coordinator
@eddy_house is looking for a compassionate, organized, and relationship-driven High School Outreach Coordinator to help connect local high school students with resources, referrals, and support.
This full-time role spends much of the day on high school campuses, building relationships with students and school partners, creating welcoming spaces for young people to ask for help, and connecting youth with resources that can support their basic needs.
We’re looking for someone who communicates well, stays calm in challenging situations, enjoys working with young people, and believes in the power of reaching youth before a crisis becomes long-term homelessness.
🎓 Experience working with youth is preferred
📍 Based in Reno, Nevada
🕒 Full-time, generally during school hours
